Elden Ring, FromSoftware’s latest, is arguably one of the strongest contenders for Game of the Year 2022, taking the gaming scene by storm when it was released last February. Recording 13.4 million copies sold as of last month, the game has swallowed up countless hours from players, making them helpless tarnished eager to become the next Elden Lord.
The latest tarnished? Former Senator Bam Aquino.
Bam Aquino Plays Elden Ring
Aquino posted an update on his Twitter account, asking if any of his followers are familiar with the game and what build suggestions they can give. Holding up a PS5 copy of Elden Ring, he continues to say “Mukhang see you guys after 140 hours na,” or, roughly translated, “See you after 140 hours.”
A number of followers flooded the comments section, suggesting various builds and playstyles for the game, which is known for its wildly diverse combinations. From the popular bleed build to the powerful magic-based builds, it seems that Aquino will have a tough time thinking of which ones to use.
Others are already posting good luck messages and suggesting naked wretch builds for the ultimate experience. Aquino will definitely need the good luck messages unless he’s really a pro at this thing, which we would not rule out the possibility of because of his affinity for all things gaming.
Former Senator Bam Aquino is a staunch supporter of the local gaming scene in the Philippines, often pushing efforts to recognize local talent. It can be remembered that Aquino helped out our DOTA 2 Filipino teams secure their visa a few years back, allowing them to compete in prestigious international events and represent our country on the world stage.
According to the Senate website, it was also Aquino who helped establish PeSPA, or the Philippine esports Association, which aims to further enhance the esports foundation in the country.
From gaming scene champion to Elden Lord, can Former Senator Bam Aquino conquer this latest challenge? We’ll check back after 140 hours.
