Activision has announced that the upcoming Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II is coming on October 28, 2022. No platforms were announced, but it is safe to assume that it will appear on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and PC.

We also get to see a short trailer revealing some iconic returning characters from Task Force 141 such as Captain John Price, Sergeant “Soap” MacTavish, Sergeant Kyle “Gaz” Garrick, lone-wolf Simon “Ghost” Riley. We are also introduced to Mexican Special Forces Colonel Alejandro Vargas.

This upcoming installment in the long-running Call of Duty franchise will be a sequel to the hugely successful 2019’s Modern Warfare release.
