Capcom’s Onimusha is Getting an Anime Series From Director Takashi Miike

While not in the form of a new game, Capcom’s Onimusha is making a comeback as an anime series on Netflix.

The upcoming project will be led by Takashi Miike, known for his works such as Ichi the Killer and 13 Assassins, and he will be working alongside Shinya Sugai and Sublimation Studio.

The reveal did not mention any release date or trailer, but it did come with a few stills to give everyone a first look at the project.

While the stills look good, something as action-packed as Onimusha needs to be seen in motion, so we’re hoping that a trailer is released soon to give us a better idea of what to expect.

Are you looking forward to this?
