Sad news.

Sorry, fans. If you’re like us who was hoping against hope that the upcoming remaster would include both Crysis 2 and 3 as well as corresponding DLC’s, Crytek has just dashed all speculation as according to a report from Inverse.com, the upcoming remaster will only include the campaign from the original game.

Inverse had reached out to Crytek and received a confirmation stating the following:

Crysis Remastered is just the original game,”
“It won’t include Warhead or any of the other games from the series.”

That’s some sad news, as usual standards for remasters these days would at least include any DLC’s or expansions from before, so Warhead could possibly be a separate DLC for this upcoming release.

The Crysis remaster in itself is still something to look forward to, so we’re still excited to have our systems get melted and the Crysis meme be restored in all it’s glory for the current generation.

Crysis Remastered is set to release this Summer for the PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
