Bandai Namco have announced that the next DLC for DragonBall Z: Kakarot will be arriving early Summer in the form of “Trunks: The Warrior of Hope”.

Check out the announcement trailer below:

The DLC takes place after the death of many of Earth’s heroes. Goku has fallen ill due to the virus in his heart, and with the invasion of 2 androids, even the finest fighters such as Piccolo, Vegeta, Yamcha, and the others have fallen. Players can enjoy an additional scenario where you become the new protagonist, Trunks, and fight with your mentor, Son Gohan, to restore peace to the world.

Our review of Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot calls it “an admirable job in translating the anime into the game” but ultimately falls flat due to some half baked RPG mechanics and a story retold countless times.

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is now available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
