After recently confirming the release of an offline version of the Dragon Quest X MMO for the PS4, PS5, Switch, and PC on February 26, 2022, we finally get to see the first look at gameplay during a Play! Play! Play! showcase from PlayStation.

You can view the full showcase below, but gameplay starts at around the 10-minute mark, which shows snippets of how battles will go and even field exploration.

At the moment, the game is confirmed for a Japan-only release, so we’ll have to wait and see if this game comes to the west at a later date. Given the ever-growing popularity of Dragon Quest, we’re hoping an English localization is scheduled somewhere down the line.
