Play Far Cry 6 for Free This Weekend

Ubisoft has announced that Far Cry 6 is playable for free from August 4 until August 7 on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and PC via Ubisoft Store and Epic Games Store.

Pre-load is now available and players will have access to the full game, along with all free downloadable content to date, all playable in co-op.

Should players choose to continue the fight against Anton Castillo, massive discounts of up to 60% will be available across various SKUs of the game.

  • PC via Ubisoft Store: From August 4 until August 16, players can get 60 percent off Standard, Gold and Ultimate editions of the game, 50 percent off the Season Pass and all three DLCs, as well as receive an additional 10 percent off on their entire order when they purchase Far Cry 6 during the promotional period.   • PC via Epic Games Store: From August 4 until August 8, players can get 60 percent off all editions of the game, and 50 percent off the Season Pass and all three DLCs.
  • Xbox: From today until August 15, players can get 60 percent off Standard and Gold editions of the game, and 50 percent off the Season Pass, as part of Xbox’s Achievement Hunter Sale.
  • PlayStation: From today until August 17, players can get 60 percent off Standard and Gold editions of the game, and 50 percent off the Season Pass, as part of PlayStation Store’s Summer Sale.

Additionally, Far Cry 6 also announced a Photo Mode contest, where players have a chance to win exciting prizes, including AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT graphics cards, Far Cry 6 collector figurines, Tobii eye trackers and Corsair headsets.

Five winners will be selected by the Far Cry 6 community development team and 10 winners will be randomly selected from all valid submissions, with the contest starting August 4 at 10:00 PM SGT (UTC+8) and ending on August 13 at 11:59 AM SGT (UTC+8).

Far Cry 6 is now available for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and PC.
