The next Fast & Furious movie may have been delayed but this one looks to be locked in the last quarter mile as Fast & Furious Crossroads has been scheduled for an August 7 launch and along with the announcement, a first look at the gameplay.

I’m not exactly quite sure what to feel about this. Gameplay looks repetitive and the graphical quality is looking a bit dated but the developers (Slightly Mad Studios) have had experience with racing games before in Project Cars so maybe there’s something there that could surprise us all, like the highly touted three-way multiplayer mode. It did say that the game is still in development so hopefully we can expect it to be polished up a bit more until it hits release.
Fast & Furious Crossroads is dubbed as a “team-based, vehicular-heist action game” and will feature “Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez and Tyrese Gibson reprising their roles as Dom, Letty, and Roman in an action-packed adventure set across stunning global locations, including Athens, Barcelona and Morocco.”
Fast & Furious Crossroads is scheduled to release on August 7, 2020 for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam.
