Square Enix has announced that Final Fantasy XVI will get two paid DLCs along with a PC version, both of which are currently in development. More information about both items will be announced later this year.
The announcement was made during the “Voices from Valisthea” panel at PAX West 2023, where Naoki Yoshida himself revealed the updates to the game.
Additionally, a new free update has been made available to all players, which includes a number of items and cosmetics such as the Onion Sword, and new outfits for Clive, Jill, and Torgal.
The update also comes with a long list of fixes and tweaks, and you can see the full list HERE.
You can view the trailer for the update below, but it contains spoilers for the game, so it is not advisable to view it if you haven’t progressed enough into the game yet.
Final Fantasy XVI is now available for PS5, with a PC version just confirmed and in development.
