Funko has announced that they are working with 10:10 Games to create an AAA Action Platformer for consoles and PC that is targeting a 2023 release.

The partnership between companies was announced during SDCC and will be led by Jon Burton, a five-time BAFTA award winner and video game developer.

“Creating iconic products that emotionally connect fans to their favorite fandoms is critical to each product portfolio decision,” said Andrew Perlmutter, CEO of Funko. “By partnering with 10:10 Games and utilizing the best creators in the business, we will have the talent to deliver games that reflect Funko’s unique look and feel across its lines and varied products.”

No specific consoles were announced but the game is said to be developed for “current and next-gen consoles and PC,” which could basically mean all major platforms like the PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch.

A safe bet could see this game be similar to the LEGO titles, which saw a massive launch thanks to the recently released LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga.

What do you think of this upcoming game from Funko?
