As you can see, the list shows a relatively easy path to the Platinum trophy. Apart from the challenge of actually finishing the game, the tasks are pretty simple but very time consuming, since you’ll have to finish almost everything in each area (liberate the region, get all Shrines / Haiku’s / Hot Springs, etc). That said, getting the platinum may take you anywhere upwards of 40 or 50 hours depending on how you play the game.

Here are some tips to help you out get that Platinum:

  • Areas marked in red on your map are areas under Mongol control. Liberating these will remove the fog of war in the area and will show all undiscovered locations so you don’t have to second guess where that next shrine or pillar is.
  • While exploring, there are some inconspicuous statues or areas with a signpost that shows a bowing gesture. Swipe down on your touch pad and once you bow on these altars, they will count towards the “Honor the Unseen” trophy. It will be hard to come back for these since they don’t show up on the map, so remember to do these right away!
  • There are a total of 61 Tales of Tsushima not including the main story tales as well as the mythic tales. Count properly and look out for missing ones in the world.
  • When you’re done with the main story and simply cleaning up, stock up on technique points and place them on the guiding wind options for the Hot Springs, Inari Shrines, Haiku Spots, and Bamboo Strikes. Don’t be scared about not getting enough technique points for all the skills, you’ll get them all eventually.
  • You’ll to equip 3 pieces of gear in order to get the “Cooper Clan Cosplayer” trophy. We won’t tell you which ones, so you’ll have to find that out for yourself!

Ghost of Tsushima is now available exclusively for the PlayStation 4.
