Riot Games Southeast Asia revealed the Lunar Beast Event, an in-game celebration in League of Legends: Wild Rift to usher in the Lunar New Year festivities. The event runs from February 4 to March 3.
The Lunar Beast event empowers the relics of revels past to tame the Beast and save the day.
It will also introduce two new champions, Xayah, the Rebel and Rakan, the Charmer into the game. The two will dance their way into the duo lane to join the festivities.
In addition, players in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Myanmar, Cambodia, and the Philippines will also get the chance to embark on The Lunar Hunt, a ‘search and answer’ campaign created in collaboration with Codashop. The Lunar Hunt starts on February 10 and will take you on a journey to uncover missing pistols featuring several Champions decked out in the latest Lunar Beast skins.
Clues for The Lunar Hunt will be made via Codashop’s microsite, blog, Facebook, and Instagram accounts.
In other news, Riot is also planning on making an MMORPG set in the LoL Universe!
