Let’s Unbox The Elden Ring Collector’s Edition

Elden Ring is now available worldwide, and it seems the long wait has resulted in a masterpiece from Hidetaka Miyazaki and his team at FromSoftware. The game was released to extremely high ratings, making it one of the highest-rated games on both Metacritic and OpenCritic.

Of course, for a game this good, an equally majestic Collector’s Edition must come with it. Sold out within minutes, maybe even seconds after it first got posted, the Elden Ring Collector’s Edition is definitely a worthy addition to any fan of FromSoftware games, or even just for collectors who want to show off.

The Elden Ring Collector’s Edition retailed for $189.99 (PHP11,490 locally) and includes the following:

  • Base game
  • Digital Soundtrack
  • Collectible Box
  • Exclusive Steelbook
  • 40-page hard cover artbook
  • 23cm Statue of Malenia – Blade of Miquella

A higher-tiered and more limited Premium Edition was also released but was only launched in limited territories.

Overall, the package is a wee bit pricey for what you actually get, especially when comparing it to other CE’s of a similar price. Nevertheless, the figure included looks great and has a good amount of detail to it, along with other premium items like the exclusive Steelbook and the artbook.

There’s a current trend of making the actual packaging a backdrop to the included figure and Elden Ring does the same, which really complements the included Statue of Malenia very well.

Enough talk, let’s unbox this bad boy!
