Mafia Trilogy officially announced, Mafia II and III now available in digital formats

After a surprising amount of Mafia II and Mafia III leaks just hours after the teaser, 2K and Hanger13 have officially unveiled Mafia Trilogy, which contains a remake of the first Mafia game and remasters for both Mafia II and Mafia III. Best thing about it? Both remasters are now available via digital download.

You can view both trailers below:

Mafia II: Definitive Edition is remastered from the original game back from 2010 and will include all of the post release DLC, setting you back for $30 or around PHP1,500.

Mafia III: Definitive Edition, on the other hand, is quite the letdown as it will not include any upgrades other than the base game along with all the DLC. It will cost you $30, or around PHP1,500 as well.

Both are available now via digital download but if you want to wait for a Physical version to come in, that’s going to take quite a while. August 28, to be exact, the same date that the remade Mafia: Definitive edition hits.

You can choose to purchase Mafia: Definitive edition individually for $40 or around PHP2,000 when it comes out or purchase the whole trilogy as a package for $60 or around PHP3,000.

Pre-orders for Mafia: Definitive Edition or the Mafia Trilogy before August 28 will be given “The Chicago Outfit” bonus content which includes the following:

  • Exclusive Player Outfit: The Don
  • Exclusive Vehicle: Smith V12 Limousine
  • Exclusive Weapon Skin: Gold Semi-Automatic

Owning Mafia II on Steam will net you an automatic upgrade to the definitive edition for free while owning Mafia III on PS4, Xbox, or Steam will automatically upgrade it to the definitive edition for free.

Mafia: Definitive Edition is scheduled to release on August 28 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
