Barring any unfortunate incident, fans of the original trilogy should look forward to May as Mass Effect Legendary Edition has gone gold.

A Tweet by Mac Walters, Project Director of the game, announces this accomplishment by the team. This basically means that the game is ready for mass production and ready to be printed out on discs. It also means that there shouldn’t be any delays leading up to launch, but stranger things have happened.

Recently, an 11 minute video that details the changes from the original made the rounds on social media, which feature not only gameplay but also quality of life and updates to modernize the trilogy. This release will surely be one that fans and newcomers alike will enjoy.

Mass Effect Legendary Edition is scheduled for a May 14 release on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, with next-gen enhancements for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
