Let’s unbox the Metroid Dread Special Edition

After such a long wait, fans of the franchise now have the latest installment in Metroid Dread for the Nintendo Switch and the reception has been overly positive, to say the least.

The Metroid Dread Special Edition is a solid package and an absolute must-buy for fans. Because of its relatively cheap retail price of $89.99 (PHP5,495 in the Philippines), the price is not a big turn-off and based on what you get in return, is totally worth it

Contents of the special edition include:

  • Base game
  • Collectible steelbook case
  • 190-page Metroid franchise artbook
  • Set of five holographic art cards

While not officially included in the contents, you might as well put the outer box of the special edition as part of it because it looks gorgeous enough to be a centerpiece and a worthy addition to your growing collection.

Without further ado, let’s get right to it!
