While not yet officially announced, Mortal Kombat 12 has been revealed to be launching in 2023.
During the Warner Bros. Discovery earnings call that was scheduled earlier today, the game was indeed mentioned, saying that it will be coming this year.
“And there’s lots more to come, including the highly-anticipated Mortal Kombat 12 and Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, games also set for release this year with ambitious launch projections,”

No official statement has been released just yet, but it stands to reason that NetherRealm is indeed working on the next installment, especially after a fantastic outing with MK 11.
