2K has announced that NBA 2K23, the latest iteration of the top-rated NBA video game simulation series of the past 21 years, is now available worldwide on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, Switch, and PC.
NBA 2K23 offers an authentic and hyper-real basketball experience showcasing all-new gameplay innovations and animations, the coveted return of the Jordan Challenge mode, an immersive online community experience, and so much more.
For its local launch in the Philippines, special guests including known basketball and gaming personalities were invited to be among the first in the country to try out the game.
The event was headlined by a special exhibition match between NBA 2K League 5v5 APAC Invitational champion Playbook Esports and NBA 2K League 3v3 APAC Invitational champion Laus Group Esports. The two homegrown esports teams have recently been making waves in the international NBA 2K scene and perfectly epitomize the meaning of answering the call to greatness.
Held at the NBA Store in SM Megamall, the venue also featured local basketball memorabilia including a charcoal drawing of “The Last Shot” by artist Christian Talampas that was signed by none other than six-time NBA World Champion and Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Famer Michael Jordan.
Regular customers were also given the opportunity to get hands-on experience with NBA 2K23 through a two-day Free Play session.
For the Philippines, customers can grab physical copies of the NBA 2K23 Michael Jordan Edition and the Standard Edition at the NBA store. The NBA 2K23 Michael Jordan Edition is available for PHP 5,090 for PS4 and PS5, while the Standard Edition is available for PHP 2,990 for PS4 and PHP 3,490 for PS5.
