The much-awaited Nintendo Direct dropped today, with 40 minutes of information mostly focused on Nintendo Switch games launching this winter. In this jam-packed show, there were a few amazing surprises as well as some anticipated announcements that many fans of a certain series have been awaiting.
For fans looking forward to the sequel of Breath of the Wild, look no further now that Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has been officially announced and will be dropping with a launch date of May 2023. Likewise, the succeeding announcements of fan favorites like Fire Emblem Engage and Octopath Traveler II will surely light up the start of 2023.
There are expansion pass announcements for ongoing Nintendo titles such as Splatoon, Mario Kart 8, and Xenoblade Chronicles 3. Also, much-awaited release dates for previously announced games, such as the remakes of Front Mission and Crisis Core -Final Fantasy VII- Reunion.
