Square Enix has announced that Octopath Traveler II will be coming to the PS4, PS5, Switch, and PC on February 24, 2023.
Announced during the recently concluded Nintendo Direct, the sequel to one of the best JRPGs on Nintendo Switch is finally coming, nearly 5 years after it first launched back in 2018.
We get a new era in the land of Solistia, with eight new travelers to follow, and these include:
- Hikari, the warrior
- Agnea, the dancer
- Partitio, the merchant
- Osvald, the scholar
- Throne, the thief
- Temenos, the cleric
- Ochette, the hunter
- Castti, the apothecary
While they do have the same classes as the previous iterations of the game, they do follow a different story arc and hopefully a larger world saga.
Here is an overview of Octopath Traveler II:
The story takes place in Solistia, a land comprising an eastern and western continent divided by the sea.
It is a bustling era, wherein large vessels navigate busy sea routes and the power of steam gives birth to new technologies.
Some people thrill to glamorous stars of the stage and industry, while others are brought to tears by war, plague, and poverty.
In this faraway realm, eight travelers hailing from different regions venture forth for their own reasons. Step into their shoes and explore the land as you see fit, using their unique talents to aid you along your journey.
Embark on an adventure all your own.
Octopath Traveler II will be coming to the PS4, PS5, Switch, and PC on February 24, 2023.
