Blizzard Entertainment has announced that it will be compensating Overwatch 2 players with a few rewards for any inconveniences caused by the numerous issues that have plagued the game since it launched.

All players that log into the game starting from October 25 through to the end of Season One will be getting the following items for free, and will automatically be added to the inventory of players upon logging in during the time window.

• Health Pack Weapon Charm
• Cursed Captain Reaper
• 2x Match XP weekends

“Launching Overwatch 2 as a live service comes with amazing opportunities and challenges, both anticipated and unexpected. We’ve largely stabilized the game overall, and we’ve made a lot of progress in fixing or improving issues some of you are facing. We’re committed to consistently investigating issues as they arise, working quickly towards fixes, and being transparent with our community on the status of Overwatch 2,” shares Blizzard.

The team has committed to continue working to further stabilize the game, announcing that another patch is planned for later this week.

Overwatch 2 is now available for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, Switch, and PC.
