Rising Hell, an upcoming indie rogue-lite from Indonesia, isn’t the only game from the region to watch out for. This stunning platformer titled Hoa, which looks like something straight out of a Ghibli film from a Vietnamese team called Skrollcat Studio, should be on your watchlist as well.
Announced on the PlayStation Blog, the game will make its way to the PS4 and PS5 in July, and this is looking to be a worthy addition to your growing backlog of titles.
The game tells the story of Hoa, who belongs to a tribe of fairies and has the power to nurture life around her. After an unfortunate incident that takes her away from her tribe at a very young age, she now takes a journey back to her homeland, all while bringing life back to her surroundings and learning more about herself.
Hoa will make use of the DualSense to bring a more immersive playing experience. The adaptive triggers will begin to tighten up during flight as her energy is depleted, and even the haptic feedback will bring life to Hoa’s actions throughout her journey.
Hoa is currently scheduled for a July release on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch and PC.
