It’s Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart day today, and if you’re still thinking about picking up the latest from Insomniac Games, you can check out our review here to help you out.

Throughout the course of Rift Apart, you’ll encounter various baddies as you traverse the galaxy and dimensions in the hunt for Dr. Nefarious. Insomniac Games have created vibrant worlds, but have snuck in a few easter eggs as well if you pay close attention.

*Warning – Spoilers ahead*

If you’ve been checking the Insomniac Games Twitter account, they’ve been quite busy with some fantastic marketing for the game, including some of the PlayStation Studios family getting in on the action.

Later on in the game, you’ll be able to collect a weapon called the RYNO 8, which is a secret reward for collecting all of the Spybots in the game. The RYNO “fires a ball of energy that opens a portal above the battlefield, allowing mysterious objects to fall through.” As you shoot, you’ll see a bunch of objects and debris fall down from the portals, but shoot enough rounds and you might see some pretty familiar faces from neighboring PlayStation Studios “dimensions”.

Can you name them all?

Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart Guest Appearances

Where’s Daxter?
I know that Raccoon from somewhere…
Aha! Caught you!
What’s a Ravager doing here?
Run, a Thunderjaw!

There’s even a water plane and jeep that looks suspiciously like the ones used by Nathan Drake from Uncharted, but they fall too fast to get a good screenshot, sorry! There’s also another character here that makes a very rare appearance if you’re patient enough, and its enough to make you go into a “Fizzie” if you see it!

Cheeky Insomniac Games, including the family in their latest game, you love to see it!

Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is out now exclusively for the PlayStation 5.
