Here’s your first look at Resident Evil Village PS4 Pro gameplay

Once thought to be a next-gen exclusive game, Capcom announced a couple of months back that Resident Evil Village will indeed be releasing on the PS4 and Xbox One, leaving fans who haven’t had the chance to upgrade to the latest hardware happy at the prospect of still being able to play the latest game. It is indeed good news, but of course it was also met with caution as to how it would run on older systems, but we get a first look at it courtesy of IGN and the results are very promising.

While surely there will be a significant difference compared to the PS5 and Xbox Series, the PS4 Pro version holds up pretty well, and also looks to be running on a very stable framerate. Capcom have done well with this port, judging from this early look, which will hopefully translate to a fantastic experience wherever you choose to play Resident Evil Village.

In case you’ll be taking the PC route, the system requirements have already been revealed.

Resident Evil VIllage is scheduled to be released on May 7, 2021 for the PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, and Xbox One and Series X/S.
