‘Saint Maker’, From Manila-based Devs Yangyang Mobile, Launching on February 22

Indie game developer Yangyang Mobile has announced that Saint Maker is launching on February 22, 2023, for the Nintendo Switch and PC.

The upcoming horror visual novel, inspired by the likes of “Haunting of Hill House” and “Midnight Mass,” will retail for $13.99, but will be discounted by 20% during its launch week. For those wanting to give it a shot, the game has a free downloadable demo on its Steam page.

Here’s an overview of the game:

Saint Maker is a short horror visual novel, which tells the story of Holly Beltran, a young girl who experiences strange hauntings while attending a recollection at an old convent.

The game will be dealing with both psychological and religious horror, and features eerie statues of saints coming to life — their faces cracked and twisted.

FEATURES:
Religious Horror: Experience a horror story rich with eerie religious iconography and psychological scares.
A Short and Haunting Story: At around 60,000 words and with 4-6 hours of estimated gameplay, Saint Maker is perfect to play on a dark and stormy night.
Fully Voiced: A cast of professional English voice actors has breathed life into the characters and their struggles.
Interactive Dialogue Choices: As the horror unfolds, your choices will help Holly discover more about herself during this ordeal. A normal ending and a (secret) bonus scene await you depending on your choices.
Bone-chilling Visuals: Witness the haunting setting of Saint Idelora’s Convent, with detailed backgrounds, CGs, and animated illustrations adding to an immersive and terrifying experience.
Original Soundtrack: Originally composed soundtracks which add both horror and
heart to the story.
