Just over a day ago, it’s been claimed that Scarlet Nexus, the next big outing for Bandai Namco which launches later this month, will be hitting the Xbox subscription service on day one. It seems that’s not the case anymore, as according to VGC, a Bandai Namco spokesperson has since denied the rumor.

According to the spokesperson, “We have no plans to bring Scarlet Nexus to Xbox Game Pass at this time and are excited for its launch on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC on June 25.”

The game would have been a big get for the subscription service, and it will still be a big one if and when they release it on the service sometime in the future, but for day one hopefuls, you may have to wait a bit longer.
