After an intense, month-long battle with the region’s top Call of Duty: Mobile (CODM) teams, Smart Omega from The Philippines has emerged as the champions of the CODM Garena Masters III – Glory.
Smart Omega competed against the eight teams from the playoffs stage across Singapore, Malaysia, and the Philippines and proved that their talent and skills were exceptional by clinching the coveted title of the Call of Duty: Mobile Garena Masters III champions and a total prize of US$10,000.
The team, along with two others from the Playoffs – Blacklist Ultimate and ALMGHTY will advance to the Stage 4 Regionals, commencing on 8 September. There will be a total of six teams at the Stage 4 Regionals – two representative teams each from Singapore, Malaysia, and the Philippines – facing off against each other for a spot at the World Championship.
Garena Master III – Glory, which concluded last weekend, saw Smart Omega establish themselves in the lead, winning multiple close series against their strongest rivals. Ultimately, it was Smart Omega Rage’s 1v3 flank that sealed the tournament.
The top 8 Singapore and Malaysia teams from the Call of Duty: Mobile Garena Masters III tournament will have another shot at making it to the Stage 4 Regionals by competing in the Last Chance Qualifier, which will be held this weekend.
