SEGA has released new footage of its upcoming open-zone title, Sonic Frontiers, and if this glimpse is anything to go by, then the results could be rather promising.
The short 35-second clip shows Sonic running freely through a huge environment that shows off a visual departure from the Sonic titles we’re used to. Sonic encounters some enemies in the short clip, and handily beats them with a number of impressive moves.

The game is coming in Holiday 2022 for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, Switch, and PC.
