Entitled “The Edge”, no games were featured but it highly emphasizes the upcoming tagline for the PS5, which is “Play Has No Limits”, as well as to “evoke some of the feelings you would get from PlayStation 5.”
Speaking to Variety, Lempel says the ad speaks to their identity as a brand that will “want to excite and thrill you. We want to show them a path to the mysterious unknown… what you’re seeing is them coming to the edge and then going beyond.”

We’re about 2 months away from the possible release of the PlayStation 5 and soon, a showcase will air on September 16 that will most possibly reveal the price and pre-order details of Sony’s next generation offering. The leaks have intensified, but it won’t be long now for an official announcement from Sony themselves.
