During a special Nintendo Direct, Nintendo and Illumination Entertainment released the first teaser trailer for the upcoming Super Mario Bros. Movie that’s set to launch in theaters on April 7, 2023.

In the trailer, we finally get to see and hear the characters in their element, and it’s looking very promising. Apart from the stunning visuals, some of the voice actors like Jack Black (Bowser) and Keegan-Michael Key (Toad) are perfect, but the star of the show isn’t quite what you’d expect.

How does Chris Pratt sound like as Mario? Well, he sounds like… Chris Pratt!

There’s a lot to look forward to, seeing as we’ve only seen a couple of minutes of it. In any case, we’ll be sure to see and hear more about the movie as we approach its release next year.
