One of the most well-known game shows in Asia is happening once again as the Tokyo Game Show 2023 will take place from September 21 – September 24 at the Makuhari Messe convention center in Tokyo.
According to its organizer, the Computer Entertainment Supplier’s Association, the event this year will use up the entirety of Makuhari Messe, making it the largest Tokyo Game Show ever and the first time in four years that the whole venue will be utilized again. The organizers are expecting around 200,000 visitors and 2,000 booths at the show this year.
Companies like Bandai Namco, HoYoverse, Sega, Atlus, Square Enix, Capcom, and much more are slated to take part in the event while showcasing their latest and upcoming titles to the press and the public.
Last year, the Tokyo Game Show played host to great announcements like the Suikoden I & II Remasters along with game previews like Forspoken, Crisis Core, Like a Dragon: Ishin!, Sonic Frontiers, and much more.
Are you looking forward to anything this year? Hopefully something about Final Fantasy VII Rebirth?
