‘Best-in-class’ Xbox Wireless Headset announced, priced at $99

Microsoft isn’t leaving their next-gen systems empty handed, as they’ve just announced the new Xbox Wireless Headset, which is set to debut March 16 at a retail price of $99, or around PHP5,000.

The news comes by way of the Xbox Wire news site, which promises “best-in-class audio and chat performance, outstanding design and comfort, and unique experiences that are tailored for each gamer,” and will support “industry-leading spatial sound technologies including Windows Sonic, Dolby Atmos, and DTS Headphone: X for realism and audio precision that fully surrounds you.”

This wireless headset can connect to Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Windows 10 PC’s via Bluetooth, with your listening experience customized by the Xbox Accessories App.

The headset also boasts of fast charging, giving about 4 hours of use for only 30 minutes of charging, and up to 15 hours of battery life with 3 hours of charging when not in use.

Pre-orders are now available on the Microsoft Store, no news on local availability just yet.
