Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Review We’ve mentioned Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, or Fallen Order moving forward, on our backlog in anticipation of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor releasing later this month. It was offered as one of the free PS Plus games back in January, making it a no-brainer for it to be part of your playlist. Fallen Order tells a story of a padawan survivor, Cal Kestis, who is living day to day hiding from persecution. After narrowly escaping the Inquisitors, he finds himself allied with a motley crew searching for a holocron that holds information on force-sensitive children throughout the galaxy. Seeing it as a way to rebuild the Jedi order, Cal and his companions scour the galaxy for this artifact to stop the Inquisitors from getting their hands on it. Is Fallen Order a necessary experience to play Star Wars Jedi: Survivor? Read on, Padawan, to…

The Outer Worlds: Spacer’s Choice Edition Review The Outer Worlds: Spacer’s Choice Edition launched earlier this month from Obsidian Entertainment, Private Division, and Virtuos. Compiling the base game and both of its excellent DLCs, Peril on Gorgon and Murder on Eridanos, we get a fantastic package that optimizes the game for current-gen consoles. There’s a catch, though! Since this is a full package with included DLC, players will have to cough up enough dough for a full-priced release. Looking for a current-gen upgrade? Well, you’ll have to shell out for that too. We’ll get to these later! For now, what has changed since The Outer Worlds dropped back in 2019? Read on fellow spacefarer and see the difference! *Disclaimer – we played and reviewed the game on a patched version and not the original release. https://youtu.be/CI7-H0W5uUo A Current-gen Face Lift The Outer Worlds: Spacer’s Choice Edition, coming from someone who…

Theatrhythm Final Bar Line, if you haven’t heard, is the follow-up to the excellent 3DS rhythm-RPG game Theatrhythm Final Fantasy from Square Enix and indieszero. Featuring the storied 35-year history of Final Fantasy music, the game is immensely fun, addictive, and will bring you back to the golden years of Final Fantasy nostalgia. If there’s one thing that presents a massive challenge in Theatrhythm Final Bar Line, it’s the boss fights. They’re usually at the end of the music stage, they pack quite a lot of HP, and they love dishing out the most annoying status ailments. Then you ask yourself, “How do we take down these bosses and claim the promised loot at the end of each music stage?” What if I told you that the bosses in Theatrhythm Final Bar Line are quite easy to beat? This guide has been written to that effect, and it’ll show you…
Theatrhythm Final Bar Line is an extremely fun rhythm RPG from Square Enix and indieszero that features Final Fantasy and Square Enix music. One of the more fun aspects of Theatrhythm Final Bar Line is the collectibles in the form of Collectacards. They range from giving your characters a stat boost or even serve as a fun codex for collecting iconic moments from the franchise. There are a ton of Collectacards to get, and while you can easily just randomly collect them, there is a way to be efficient with your playthrough and grab a ton of rare Collectacards in the process. The closer you get to completion, the more duplicates you’ll get, so this is a guide to curb that. Adel is relieved that he wasn’t robbed like his friends Along the way, it’s quite possible to get some elusive Summonstones and items as well! So here’s a quick…
Theatrhythm Final Bar Line is a fantastic title from Square Enix that boasts the storied history of music heard in the Final Fantasy series as well as their stand-alone JRPG titles. Summons are an iconic part of the Final Fantasy mythos, and Theatrhythm Final Bar Line implements this by using the Summonstones of iconic characters like Ifrit, Shiva, and Bahamut, among others. Summonstones are special and powerful loot that you can receive from enemies, either through monster drops, stolen loot, or by collecting enough Rhythmia points. They can grant you an advantage in the stage, but they can also give you some powerful passives such as higher experience, better trigger damage, and even regenerating burst points to give you an edge in multiplayer. They’re quite elusive, so here’s a quick guide on how to farm Summonstones in Theatrhythm Final Bar Line! Knights of the Round baby! Theatrhythm Final Bar Line…
If there’s a game this year that I’ve been hooked on playing from the moment the demo dropped until most recently, it’s Theatrhythm Final Bar Line. With 385 + 27 songs available at the moment, it’s a massive collection that’s packed to the brim with the storied 35-year history of Final Fantasy and Square Enix music. The hype has always been surrounding the songs, but as you play Theatrhythm Final Bar Line, the Final Fantasy characters that you collect, including the unlocked characters as you complete each Final Fantasy title, will total up to 104 characters. Maxing them out at 99, that’s 10,296 levels to grind if you do the math! Yaaaassss Queen Thankfully, Theatrhythm Final Bar Line is such a fantastic, fun, and addictive game that the grind to 99 isn’t too much to bear unless you start playing with the more obscure characters. Do you even remember Benjamin…
Octopath Traveler II is a mammoth of a JRPG, and clocking in at over 60 hours of playtime, we’ve barely scratched the surface. When you’re not completing the main story of all eight travelers, you’ll be busy with side quests, completing intersecting side stories between travelers, and much more. There’s a lot to do in Octopath Traveler II, but getting all travelers should be your first priority to maximize your time with them. Taking your time with all of them may take you around 10 hours, but you can really get them in just one hour, and it involves a lot of shortcuts. Don’t worry about skipping though, you can always review stories later at the tavern, and by getting all 8 travelers in Octopath Traveler II as early as you can, you can use your time more wisely by leveling them up and choosing which ones you really want…
