Square Enix has already announced that the upcoming Final Fantasy 7 Remake will be experiencing physical copy delays due to the COVID-19 outbreak situation happening all over the world. Locally, since malls are closed and no other retailers will be operating at that time, a digital purchase is likely the only way you’ll get to play the game on day one.
That has not stopped people (and some retailers) from jumping the gun on releasing the game, even if it means breaking the mandated street date for the title.
A Reddit user going by the name of NateLo22 has posted the copy of the game that he got early, stating that he had ordered and received it early. Shown below are the contents from the Deluxe Edition of the game, which gets you an artbook, a collectible steel case, and a mini soundtrack apart from the base game.
We still don’t know much about the PS5. Apart from the hardware and specs, two of the more important things like price and launch titles are still a bit of a secret for now. We know for sure that Godfall, a looter slasher game from Gearbox, will be coming out in the same release window as the PS5 but whether it is a launch title is to be determined.
Quantum Error, a cross generation PS4 and PS5 game, is the next title to be announced and it is from TeamKill Media. Check out the announcement teaser below:
Quantum Error is dubbed as a cosmic horror FPS, with some Dead Space vibes going for it. As of writing, it is not determined to be a PS5 launch title yet but given that it will be releasing on the PS4 may give us some hint that it could be releasing not too long after the launch of the PS5.
It’s nearly that time of the month when PS Plus owners look forward to what the latest free games will be and for April, it seems that the list includes a critically acclaimed PS4 exclusive and one of the best games of the generation.
As leaks go, it would be best to err in the side of caution especially whenthe initial release date of the video was set to be April 1, 2020. Of all days, that’s probably one day where everyone has to question everything they see.
It won’t be too long now, so we can just wait for the official announcement from Sony themselves but let’s cross our fingers and hope for the best because Uncharted 4 for free is quite a catch!
A Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba game is coming to the PlayStation 4 and is being developed by CyberConnect2, known for their most recent outing in Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot.
Details are scarce at this point, but there is some footage that’s been revealed in the form of an announcement trailer and a developer update. Check them out below!
We’ve also been given an sneak peek at a battle royale themed mobile game for iOS and Android titled Kimetsu no Yaiba: Keppu Kengeki Royale, scheduled to release later in the year.
Aniplex will be publishing the title while Ufotable and Shueisha will work together to produce the game. No specific release date has been announced but we can expect the game to release in 2021 based on the videos above.
Reports have surfaced that the upcoming Final Fantasy 7 Remake, which is the first installment in the multi part remake, will be spread over 2 discs and will eat up at least 100GB of storage on your PS4.
100GB is not a joke, especially when most systems ship with 500gb and 1TB variants unless you’ve upgraded your Hard Drive to allow more storage space. Still, this is Final Fantasy 7 Remake we’re talking about, so clearing up enough space for this should not be a hard thing to do, especially for a potential Game of the Year candidate.
Still on the fence for this upcoming epic? Check out our impressions of our time with the game from Tokyo Game Show last year!

SlidEout 3019 by gaffreman
User gaffreman made this very accurate homage to the classic Playstation racing IP Wipeout and it plays just as awesome as it looks. If we didn’t know any better, we’d think that this was a real Wipeout level!
Lord of the Rings’ Minas Tirith by Bevis2
Fans of the classic book and movie series The Lord of the Rings will very likely remember Minas Tirith, that vast and majestic city fully featured in Return of the King. Here, user Bevis2 faithfully recreates that breathtaking city as accurate as you can get, it’s like you can actually hear the Lord of the Rings theme play!
Prometheus by ROTHNIEL
A first person shooter that oozes with awesomeness. Prometheus has that sci-fi look that gives off some Halo vibes and the fact that this is actually even possible in Dreams Universe makes us excited to know what else other Dreamers can create!
Dead Space by Quinn Barnett
We’ve got to give kudos to user Quinn Barnett for being able to recreate a scene from the classic space survival horror Dead Space. Fans will remember this scene being the beginning of the game with Isaac Clarke beginning his rescue mission and entering the already doomed SS Ishimura. It’s highly accurate, even the tense and dreadful atmosphere of the original game is there!
Indeed, you can only be limited by your imagination and once Dreams Universe go live, we’ll be able to see more outrageous and mind-blowing creations from across the globe. Stay tuned for our review!
A ton of new Final Fantasy 7 Remake screenshots just dropped and this time, showcasing some cool new action sequences from Tifa, the return of the Nail Bat, and a closer look at some of the Summons in game!
First off, we take a look at Tifa in all her knuckle busting glory. She’s as capable as ever and to be honest, she’s looking fantastic and frankly, perfect for this game.
A fan favorite weapon makes a return as Cloud is set to wield the Nail Bat once again! One thing to note is that if you equip a weapon, your appearance will change in and out of battle.
Next up is the quest menu, where your party will be able to fulfill a host of different quests that will reward you as you finish them. You’ll also be able to take on “Battle Reports” from Chadley, a research trainee under Hojo. Finish these off and Chadley will open up various Materia for purchase.
A closer look at Red XIII shows him in majestic form, although he has been captured and is being experimented on by Hojo from Shinra.
