In a nutshell

• Gamescom Asia 2024 is set to make a return on October 17-20

Gamescom Asia is making its return this year on October 17–20 at the Suntec Convention & Exhibition Centre and will be headlined by the first round of industry heavyweights such as Capcom, Shawn Layden, and more.

Capcom is the first major publisher to confirm its participation in Gamescom Asia, kickstarting the entertainment area where attendees can look forward to a variety of hands-on demos of upcoming games and even the Capcom Pro Tour 2024 Super Premier Singapore, an official Street Fighter 6 Tournament.

Joining Capcom is 4Divinity, which will be featuring JDM: Japanese Drift Master, survival game Terratech Worlds, action RPG First Dwarf, and the immersive sim and horror FPS S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl. Additional details of globally renowned brands showcasing their games to consumers will be unveiled closer to the show. 

In the Gamescom Asia business area, which will take place from October 18–20, former Sony Interactive Entertainment America CEO Shawn Layden will be making an appearance and sharing his thoughts with a fireside chat on insights and predictions about the games industry.

Various companies from across the globe are joining the exhibition, including Australia, China, Europe, Hong Kong S.A.R., Indonesia, Japan, the Middle East, the Philippines, and much more. The business area is open to members of the gaming industry from Thursday to Friday, October 17–18.

Over at the Gamescom Asia entertainment area, which also happens on October 18-20, the main stage program will be headlined by BAFTA-winning Andrew Wincott, best known as the voice of Raphael in the celebrated video game Baldur’s Gate 3, as well as a performance by J-pop singer-songwriter SHIHORI, most recently featured on Mobile Legends: Bang Bang! ALLSTAR2024.
