Blizzard Entertainment has revealed Overwatch Rush, a brand-new mobile game set in the Overwatch universe. The title is being developed specifically for iOS and Android, marking the franchise’s first major push into mobile gaming.
Unlike the traditional hero shooter gameplay of Overwatch, Overwatch Rush is designed for shorter sessions optimized for smartphones.
Fast-Paced Hero Battles
Overwatch Rush is a new top-down Hero shooter featuring a roster of familiar heroes, each with unique abilities adapted for mobile play. Matches are expected to be quick and tactical, allowing players to jump in and out of battles while still experiencing the thrill of team-based combat.
The game is being developed by a dedicated team at Blizzard, separate from the team working on the base Overwatch game.
