Grand Theft Auto 6 In Active Development, Next-Gen GTAV Coming In March
Coming from an original November 2021 release date, Rockstar Games has now announced that Grand Theft Auto V and GTA Online will be released for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series on March 15, 2022.
Grand Theft Auto V Next-Gen Features
The release, which is somehow competing with Skyrim to release on an unprecedented number of console generations, will include a whole host of new features, including the following:
- New graphics modes with up to 4K resolution, up to 60 frames per second
- Texture and draw distance upgrades
- HDR options and ray-tracing
- Faster loading times
- Immersive 3D audio
- Platform-specific features like advanced haptic feedback
- Save file migration

Rockstar has also announced that the long-awaited next entry in the series is in “active development”, which should bring excitement to fans who have been looking forward to it for a long time.
No other details have been given at this point, so we’ll have to wait for further news from Rockstar as soon as they are ready.
