Unannounced Resident Evil 4 Remake Reportedly Making Changes To The Game
Although unannounced, many people in the industry believe that a Resident Evil 4 Remake is indeed coming. With various reports and even a “delay” of sorts, it is quite clear that development is ongoing. In fact, there are changes being made to the game, and interesting ones at that.
According to a report by Imran Khan on Fanbyte, who also accurately spilled the juice about Xenoblade Chronicles 3 last year, the long-rumored Resident Evil 4 remake, which they claim is confirmed and may be revealed this year, is making some changes to the game that will hopefully result in a better final product.
As a disclaimer, Khan mentions that since nothing has been confirmed by Capcom (even the game has not been officially announced yet), then it goes without saying that nothing in the report is confirmed as well since it is coming from Fanbyte’s hopefully trustworthy sources. Although it has gone through multiple verifications, it would still be wise to take this with a grain of salt.
Fans looking forward to a scene-by-scene remake will be disappointed since the intro of the game that takes place in the daytime will be moved to a darker night scene. The report also says that a “decent” portion of the game will take place at night because Capcom wants to make the game spookier.

Other changes will be giving side characters bigger roles and more screentime, along with fleshing out other aspects like the developers specifically expanding on Assignment: Ada and Separate Ways, both of which were bonus campaigns that provided more context to other events happening throughout the game.
Resident Evil 4 has been ported to numerous consoles but never actually remade yet, and if the Resident Evil 2 Remake (and 3, generally speaking) is any indication, then what’s considered as one of the best games in the series may get even better.
