Netflix has announced that ‘Avatar: The Last Airbender’ lead stars Gordon Cormier (Aang) and Dallas Liu (Prince Zuko) are coming to Manila on February 21, 2024.

“We will be in Manila for February 21st for the Avatar fan event!” Dallas, who plays Crown Prince Zuko adds: “It’s going to be amazing and so much fun, so please come and join us!” The announcement concludes with Gordon, who plays the young Avatar Aang, saying: “Let’s go. Yip Yip!”

The upcoming Netflix live-action adaptation is a reimagining of the beloved Nickelodeon series, which follows Aang (Cormier), the last Air Nomad and the next Avatar, as he masters the four elements of Water, Earth, Fire and Air and wield them to protect the world threatened by the ruthless Fire Nation and its equally terrifying leader, Fire Lord Ozai (Daniel Dae Kim).

The series is helmed by showrunner and writer Albert Kim (Sleepy Hollow, Nikita) and executive produced by Jabbar Raisani (Lost in Space, Stranger Things) and Michael Goi, alongside directors Roseanne Liang and Jet Wilkinson.

The ensemble cast consists of Gordon Cormier, Dallas Liu, Ian Ousley, Kiawentiio, Paul Sun-Hyung Lee and Daniel Dae Kim.

Avatar: The Last Airbender premieres on February 22, 2024, exclusively on Netflix.
