Bandai Namco Holdings Inc. has unveiled the Gundam Next Future Pavilion, an immersive exhibition showcasing futuristic concepts inspired by the beloved Gundam franchise.
The pavilion offers a vision of life in space and advanced technologies yet to be realized, allowing visitors to explore cutting-edge possibilities through original footage, interactive displays, and a towering 17-meter-tall life-sized Gundam statue.
Gundam Next Future Pavilion Details
Visitors will travel via an orbital elevator from Yumeshima Terminal to Star Jaburo Station, immersing themselves in the latest Universal Century setting. The experience showcases stunning representations of mobile suits, including a Gundam equipped with the Glass Feather and redesigned Haros, highlighting the series’ theme of technological advancement.
Mobile Suit Gundam Chief Director Yoshiyuki Tomino shared a message in the pavilion’s guidebook, emphasizing how Gundam can inspire hope for the future. He expressed that while the pavilion’s visions remain fantasy, they serve as a reminder that endless possibilities exist.






The Gundam Next Future Pavilion will be part of Expo 2025 Osaka, running from April 13 to October 13, 2025. The pavilion experience operates from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM, with the last entry at 8:10 PM. Sessions run approximately every 12 minutes, and visitors must secure an advance or same-day reservation to participate.
The immersive journey lasts around 50 minutes, guiding attendees through an interactive setting that envisions life in space and technological advancements. This attraction aims to inspire discussions about the future and the possibilities depicted in Gundam’s expansive universe.
