The Elder Scrolls Online 2025 Content Pass

This year, The Elder Scrolls Online is introducing the 2025 Content Pass. This pass will grant players access to all updates scheduled for this year’s adventure, which includes Seasons of the Worm Cult Parts 1 and 2, two dungeon packs, and the in-game event, The Writhing Wall.

Seasons of the Worm Cult

“Seasons of the Worm Cult” is a two-part adventure that represents the major new zone and storyline for ESO in 2025. The isle of Solstice is divided by the mysterious Writhing Wall and is under threat from the dreaded Worm Cult.

For the first time in the game’s history, the “Seasons of the Worm Cult” saga continues a story that began in the base game. However, players do not need to have completed the original storyline to enjoy this new content.

Additionally, The Writhing Wall, a colossal magical barrier dividing Solstice, is under the control of the Worm Cult, shielding their activities in the eastern part of the island. In a groundbreaking The Elder Scrolls Online event later this year, players will unite in a large-scale, world-changing effort to breach the wall, unlocking access to Seasons of the Worm Cult Part 2.

The 2025 Content Pass and Premium Edition feature two dungeon packs—Fallen Banners (available now) and Feast of Shadows (launching fall 2025)—each offering unique four-player PvE dungeons with their own narratives, challenges, and rewards.

Arriving alongside Seasons of the Worm Cult Part 1 in June, Update 46 introduces the Subclassing system, allowing players to swap up to two class Skill Lines for those of other classes, enabling deeper customization. Additionally, Hero’s Return helps lapsed players reintegrate into The Elder Scrolls Online, providing guidance and in-game rewards to ease their transition back into the world of Tamriel.
