Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice Blindfolded Speedrun Done In 2 Hours
Yes, you read that right. Somehow, one of the hardest games in recent memory, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, is being decimated by someone who is blindfolded, beating the game in 2 hours, which is a fraction of the time it takes people to even beat just a couple of the bosses in the game.
Over the past week, Awesome Games Done Quick 2022 celebrated its annual event which managed to raise over $3 Million for charity (congratulations!) and one of the highlights of the show was a blindfolded speedrun of Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice by streamer Mitchriz, which you can view in its entirety on the top of this page.

If that name sounds familiar, that’s because Mitchriz also set the world’s first blindfolded Sekiro run back in July 2021. That previous effort took him around 5 hours and this time around, he’s done it even faster, taking just 2 hours.
One highlight of the run is the boss fight with Gyoubu Oniwa, where Mitchriz masterfully dissects the horseback-riding foe and beats him with no problem, all while blindfolded. He even beats some of the bosses flawlessly, even the final encounter with Isshin.
Mitchriz has to depend on audio clues a lot, which is seen in the same boss fight where he loses his lock on to the target. On top of memorizing sections of the map and just overall knowing when to time all of his actions, this is certainly a feat that can’t be replicated just by anybody.
Excuse me while I feel inadequate for the rest of the day.
