Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc. and Bandai Namco Online Inc. have announced their participation at the Tokyo Game Show 2023 (TGS 2023) with the theme “Connect with Fans” to deliver the appeal of the various IPs to fans, along with connecting with business partners, Group employees, and communities around the world. Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc. and Bandai Namco Studio Inc. have announced the first GYAAR Studio Indie Game Contest, held by Bandai Namco Studios’ indie game label, “GYAAR Studio,” for indie game creators outside the company. This contest will select (at most) one Platinum Award winner and seven other prize winners from a pool of game entries, including those in development, and award a total of up to 100 million yen in support funding. Just over a day ago, it’s been claimed that Scarlet Nexus, the next big outing for Bandai Namco which launches later this month, will be hitting the Xbox subscription service on day one. It seems that’s not the case anymore, as according to VGC, a Bandai Namco spokesperson has since denied the rumor.
