The most recent Ace Combat installment, Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown, has also become the best selling title in the series, hitting a sales milestone of over 2.5 million units sold across digital and retail copies. It beat out Ace Combat 4: Shattered Skies which held the record previously.

In celebration of this momentous occasion along with its 2nd anniversary, Bandai Namco have announced a new update that will release on January 19, which includes a bunch of content like emblems and skins.
