Dying Light 2 has finally launched worldwide after several waves of delays. Developed and published by a polish company, Techland, the game features new technologies that make it beneficial to both developers and player – CityBuilder and C-Engine. CityBuilder helps developers and designers to easily assemble building parts like legos and render it into the environment. Techland also created a brand new engine called C-engine, which has major support on DLSS and NVIDIA’s ray tracing. Before we get to the benchmark results… Dying Light 2 presents a number of interesting main and side quests that can get you busy throughout the day and night. The hustle and bustle of being a walker slayer does not feel like a momentary boring chore, but a thrilling passion to be the man of your chosen faction. As expected, the game brings deeper meaning and challenge then the light dies. Suddenly, when night comes…

OlliOlli World Preview https://youtu.be/M5NiQbqh51Q During a recent closed doors preview of OlliOlli World, the latest entry in the series from developers Roll7, our expectations were all over the place. The obvious changes point to OlliOlli World being a huge departure in terms of looks but still keeping its core – a skateboarding platformer – despite the visual overhaul. Upon playing, it is quite clear that OlliOlli World is the same fun game we’ve come to know ever since it first released back in 2014, all while introducing a brand new coat of paint that portrays its chill and fun vibe, introducing an exciting new world with memorable characters and a story to follow. The Virtual Hands-On Event allowed us to tackle 2 biomes (Cloverbrook and Sunshine Valley) in the world of Radlandia, each with its own distinct personality and challenges to overcome. A quick comparison of the game with its…

Before I get to my impressions of Diablo 2 Resurrected, a (very) short story. I was around 19 years old when the original Diablo 2 was released. The stories of my cousins and uncles about the first Diablo game inspired me to save up to buy the sequel. It was one of the first PC games that I purchased with my hard earned cash, and was the game that made me fall in love with the genre. My relationship with Diablo (the franchise, heh) goes way back, so you can imagine that getting a remastered version this year is quite special for me. 23 seasons of Diablo 3 later, we were given the opportunity to play the first Technical Alpha of Diablo 2 Resurrected – a full remaster of the game from 20 years ago. I was excited, but I didn’t expect such a faithful remaster that takes me back…

While the Mafia II and III releases back in May were remasters, what immediately sets Mafia: Definitive Edition apart is the simple fact that it is a remake. With the game being rebuilt from the ground up, Mafia: Definitive Edition will feature an updated script, expanded stories, and new features that fans of the series can look forward to. The release is about a month away, September 25, but getting to play an early preview of the game thus far gives us confidence that Hangar 13 have something special going on here. From the first 5 minutes to the last chapter that we’ve had the privilege of playing, it shows that the remake was done with passion and love for the series, successfully bringing back this 2002 classic back to life and is on track to be a remake done right. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2H-ooDBx8FM Defining Moments Filled with an intriguing and cinematic…

A New Horizon It was 3 years ago when I first laid my eyes on Horizon Zero Dawn. 3 years later, after playing through a huge portion of the game, I have to admit that I haven’t gotten the chance to finish it. It is neither I am stuck in a difficult mission nor I’m fed up with the immense open world scenario that I’m put into. I got so focused on playing with its photo mode because the game is just too beautiful to look at. Yes, you can imagine me mashing the PS4 share button, and transfer some of my photos to my external drive so I can view it on my PC. Horizon Zero Dawn is one of those games that will definitely age beautifully. It pushed the boundaries of how capable the PlayStation 4 Pro is, and it became a benchmark of open-world games; all thanks…

We’ve played through the game and have thoroughly and absolutely enjoyed every minute of this epic title. We’d love to help you out on your own journey through Midgar so we’ve collected a few tips that will make even Jessie give you that thumbs up. Before we get down to it, let us remind you that there will be spoilers here, whether in context or otherwise. While the remake is based off of the PS1 classic, there are certain plot points here that make it quite the new experience. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vp_ac1Q_elk Let’s start! Since the first installment is centered around Midgar, you’ll get to explore areas that you didn’t get a chance to back during the PS1 game. Midgar is HUGE and you may get lost if you don’t use the Map and the Mini-map properly, since there are multiple pathways and road branches that may not lead you to your…
