Bethesda has announced that Fallout 4 will be receiving a free update for the PS5, Xbox Series, and PC in 2023.

In celebration of the 25th anniversary of the franchise, the studio will be giving PS4 and Xbox One owners of the game a free update so that they can enjoy Fallout 4 on their current-gen systems. The free update will include “performance mode features for high frame rates, quality features for 4K resolution gameplay, and even bonus Creation Club content!” No exact release date was revealed.

Alongside this announcement, Bethesda also unveiled a host of new announcements for Fallout 76, including a 25th Anniversary Bundle that can be claimed by Xbox Game Pass and Prime Gaming subscribers.

Fallout 4 is now available for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
