PlayStation 5 backwards compatibility tests show constant 60fps for major game titles like Sekiro and FFXV
If you’ve been wondering how your PlayStation 4 games will play and perform on the PlayStation 5, well look no further as the embargo for console reviews has been lifted, showing positive and encouraging results.
Digital Foundry, the best in the business when running tests like these, have posted an in-depth review of the PlayStation 5 backwards compatibility and needless to say, whichever side of the fence you are on, results are looking very good for people with backward compatible games to play.

In certain cases, like for Assassin’s Creed Unity, the PlayStation 5 managed to break it’s performance compared to the Xbox Series X, pointing to a possible incompatibility issue that may be patched sooner or later.
Whatever the case may be, majority of the games that will be played on either console will be reaping the benefits of the new hardware and we’re just a couple of weeks away from enjoying these “old” games the way they were meant to be played.
