After a hugely successful Closed Beta phase held last March 10-15 and an Enhanced Closed Beta last March 19-22, MU Online is finally entering Open Beta and this time around, no more server wipes!

On March 26 at 3PM, the gates of the Continent of MU will officially enter Open Beta, giving rewards to the loyal “MUtizens” who have kept the nostalgic fire burning all these years. In the coming weeks and months, various activities and events will take place for players to be able to catch up on all the features up to Season 13, the current version of MU. PlayPark MU will be implementing the additional Seasons until the SEA servers have caught up with the current Global Season within the year.

As a way of showing thanks, all players who will make an OBT account will receive the Rookie Pentagram (1 pc.), a powerful item that increases both elemental attack and defense.  Do note that the Rookie Pentagram will be awarded to the first character created on the account, so choose your class carefully to take full advantage of the buff!

Pre-registration and CBT rewards

For players who have pre-registered, PlayPark MU will award the following items:

• 1 pc. Panda Ring
• 1 pc Devil Square Ticket
• 1 pc Pet Panda
• 1 pc Blood Castle Ticket
• 10 pcs Bless of Light Greater

Participants of the CBT events, in addition to the pre-registration rewards, will also receive the following once OBT starts:

• Bless of Light [Greater]: when used, increases EXP rate by 200% for 30minutes (not stackable)
• 1stLucky Set (7D): though this is a permanent item, the durability decreases and when it hits 0, and is not usable until you put a Jewel of Extension per piece to activate it again.
• Arcanum Buff: a set of buffs that players can use for 30minutes only (HP, Mana, Wizardry, Damage and many more)

OBT events

There are a TON of events lined up for Open Beta participants and you can check out all the details below:

• Level Up Challenge – SEA and TH Servers (March 26, 2020 until April 30, 2020)

From OBT Day 1 until the end of April, MUtizens that reach level breakpoints will receive the following rewards:

Level 150: Premium Muun Egg x3
Level 250: Golden Box x3/Lower Magic Stone x3/Mastery Box (Greater) x1
Level 401: Jewel of Bless Bundle/Jewel of Soul Bundle x1/Mastery Box (Greater) x3/Medium Magic Stone x3
Level 801: Jewel of Bless Bundle/Jewel of Soul Bundle x1/Golden Crest x20/Higher Magic Stone x3

*Three players with characters over level 400 will be chosen to receive a 3rd Wing+0 with +Luck each. The wings will depend on the class what the player is using.
*One player with a character that is over level 800 will be chosen to receive a 3rd Wing+13 with +Luck. The wings will depend on the class what the player is using.

• Master Class – SEA Server Only (March 26, 2020 until April 30, 2020)

For those really aiming for the top, the Master Class event will reward the first characters for each class that reaches Master Level 100. Each of these characters will receive an A/D Wing + 9 + Option (valid for 60 days) and 100,000 Ruud.

• Chicken Run Event – SEA and TH Servers (March 26, 2020 ~ April 29, 2020)

Time to get that chicken dinner! MUtizens will have to chase after special chickens that will drop random helpful items for their journey into the Continent. The chickens have a 30-second cooldown in between spawn times and will only spawn in Lorencia and Noria maps. Players will have a chance to get the following drops:

• 20,000 Zen
• Horn of Uniria
• Guardian Angel
• Imp
• Jewel of Bless
• Jewel of Chaos
• Jewel of Soul
• Blossom Rice Cake
• Blossom Wine
• Blossom Flower Petal

• Guild Rankings (March 26, 2020 ~ April 30, 2020)

MU won’t be the same without the guilds, and OBT is the time to rally everyone together to reach the highest ranks. Only the top five highest-ranking guilds will be selected to win the following rewards:

• 1st: 5 x Choice of Class 3 Wings with +Luck to Guild Leader, [50 Item Code for 2x Jewel of Bless Bundle(10) , 2x Jewel of Soul Bundle(10)]
• 2nd: 3 x Choice of Class 3 Wings with +Luck to Guild Leader, [40 Item Code for 2x Jewel of Bless Bundle(10) , 2x Jewel of Soul Bundle(10)]
• 3rd: 2 x Choice of Class 3 Wings with +Luck to Guild Leader, [30 Item Code for 2x Jewel of Bless Bundle(10) , 2x Jewel of Soul Bundle(10)]
• 4th-5th: 1 x Choice of Class 3 Wings with + Luck to Guild Leader, [20 Item Code for 2x Jewel of Bless Bundle(10) , 2x Jewel of Soul Bundle(10)]

MU Lords pits guilds representing the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, and Indonesia in intense battles for honor, glory, and the right to be called Southeast Asia’s best MU team! MU Lords elevates the competitive MMORPG scene to a totally new level so only the best guilds will be allowed to participate. This one-of-a-kind event will be coming later on to guilds ample time to recruit, prepare, and train for the tournament.
