Disco Elysium Final Cut finally announced for March 30
Talk about cutting it close! We’ve almost dismissed Disco Elysium: The Final Cut to come out in the summer as we’re almost at the end of the month. Looks like “Mikk”, the ZA/UM rep, from Reddit is on point with ZA/UM announcing a release date this week, which lands just shy of April.
You can watch the trailer below.
Previous owners of the game on Steam get a free upgrade, and there are lots to revisit. With a fully voiced dialogue and the new political quests, it’s great to dive into the game again and redo what you’ve missed if you already played it before. PS5 users can enjoy a 4K/60p experience with optimized surround sound.
For newcomers, I’d would suggest going through a play through without restarting a choice. Go with your failures and your hunches and then try again to see how it plays out. It may not be “optimal”, but from a storytelling perspective, it’ll be fun to see it play out.
Disco Elysium: The Final Cut will launch on March 30th on the PS4, PS5, PC, iOS, and Stadia. Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch will follow on summer.
