It has only been a week since PUBG: New State has been announced, but the latest from Krafton and PUBG Studio have already hit a whopping 5 million pre-registrants even with iOS pre-registration still closed. Clearly, a lot of gamers are looking forward to this next title, and we can expect even more in the weeks to come.

In case you haven’t yet, Android device owners can pre-register on Google Play to get an exclusive vehicle skin. Fans can also look forward to alpha tests coming later in the year. 

Set in the near future of 2051, years have passed since the original game. Within this backdrop, players will be dropping into a brand-new battleground called TROI, where they will have the opportunity to discover how the universe has evolved. Filled with various landmarks that have their own distinct characteristics, players will be able to explore a unique environment that features interactable objects, helping them come up with new ways and strategies to dominate the competition.
